PulsHealth ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our iOS application.

Information We Access

PulsHealth requests read-only access to health data stored in Apple HealthKit on your device. This may include:

Activity Data

Steps, distance, workouts, active energy, exercise minutes, flights climbed, swimming strokes, and wheelchair pushes.

Body Measurements

Weight, height, body mass index, body fat percentage, lean body mass, and waist circumference.

Heart Health

Heart rate, resting heart rate, walking heart rate average, heart rate variability, blood pressure, and heart rate recovery.

Respiratory

Respiratory rate, blood oxygen saturation, VO2 max, peak expiratory flow rate, and inhaler usage.

Vitals

Body temperature, blood glucose, electrodermal activity, and fall detection.

Nutrition

Dietary energy, macronutrients (carbs, protein, fat), water intake, caffeine, vitamins, and minerals.

Sleep

Sleep analysis data including duration and sleep stages.

Mindfulness

Mindful minutes and meditation sessions.

Reproductive Health

Menstrual cycle data, ovulation tracking, cervical mucus quality, and sexual activity.

Mobility

Walking speed, step length, walking asymmetry, stair speed, and six-minute walk test results.

Other

Environmental and headphone audio exposure, UV exposure, and time in daylight.

How We Use Your Data

Export Only

We access your health data solely to export it in formats you choose (CSV, JSON, or Protocol Buffers). Data is read from HealthKit, formatted, and saved to a file that you control.

Local Processing

All data processing occurs entirely on your device. We do not transmit your health data to any external servers.

No Storage

We do not store copies of your health data. Once an export is complete, the data remains only in the exported file you created.

Data Sharing

We do NOT share your health data with anyone. When you export data, YOU choose what to do with the exported file. We have no access to files after export.

We will NEVER:

• Sell your health data to third parties
• Use your health data for advertising purposes
• Share your health data with data brokers
• Use your health data for purposes unrelated to the App's functionality

Third-Party Services

No Analytics

We do not use third-party analytics services that track your health data.

Data Security

Your health data is protected by:

• Apple's HealthKit security framework
• iOS device encryption
• Your device passcode/biometrics
• Apple's app sandboxing

Data Retention

We do not retain your health data. Export files are created in your device's file system and managed by you.

Your Rights

Access

You can view all health data through the Apple Health app.

Control

You can revoke PulsHealth's access to HealthKit at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > PulsHealth.

Deletion

Removing the app removes all app-related data from your device. Exported files remain where you saved them.

Children's Privacy

PulsHealth is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will notify you of changes by updating the "Last Updated" date.
